id start by visiting Ireland for at least a week, after doing some research online.People are incredibly warm and friendly, and youll soon get to meet people who could advise you of the best areas to open a business.visit estate agents, learn a bit about the area, laws, and what itd involve etc.look online at what other b+bs are available and how sucessful they are.areas where there is more custom from tourists and so on.do you homework properly, read all smallprint, and good luck.

You must contact the government to run a business you want. If it's a b&b, then i'm sure you can open one of your own. You might have to check over legislation laws first though. And because you are italian you will need to learn better english to work in Ireland.

I imagine it would be pretty much the same as doing it here in America.

That is, have the property with an appropriate building, work on it to make it very attractive to travelers, work up a good menu with native Irish food, put out a cute sign after thinking of a cute name for your place, such as -

"The Irish Inn in Ireland" - and wait for guests to come.

It will help to put up small signs where they would be allowed along roadways, giving the location of your inn.

it's not as easy as just asking a question and bang you get your answer

you'll need to get a property, get various licenses (for accomadtion and alcohol etc)
